An Important Letter From Pastor Rick

A Letter From Pastor Rick

Dear Parents,

I wanted to take a moment to share with you some transitions that we are in the midst of within CVCYouth and CVCMissions.  After 20 years of student ministry, I have sensed that God is calling me into a new season of ministry here at CVC.  As you likely know, Joe Valenti and I took on the missions role two years ago, and have split our time between both departments.  As of January 1st, I have begun to transition into the Missions/Serve Area.  Between now and May, I’ll continue to speak at Collide approximately 50% of the time.  In June of this year, I will begin focusing exclusively on Missions/Serve, and Joe Valenti will step into the lead role of CVCYouth.

Any questions about CVCYouth may now be directed to Joe Valenti, and any questions about CVC Missions may be directed to me.  I am genuinely excited for the future of CVCYouth as Joe continues to serve and lead in this area, and I am hopeful as I step into a new area of ministry that we will better mobilize our people to use their gifts effectively for Kingdom purposes!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

Sincerely,

Rick Eimers

A Brief Note From Pastor Joe

100% of my time in vocational ministry has been in partnership with Pastor Rick. We have experienced the mountains and the valleys of ministry and family life together. One of the greatest joys is to see the countless students that we have had the opportunity to pastor now living for Jesus. It is to that end that we have labored over these last 14 years at CVC.

I am excited for this new opportunity for Rick and am also looking forward to the challenge of leading CVCYouth into the future. Please pray for us as we all make this transition.

I look forward to partnering with you to invite your sons and daughters to new life in Christ.

Pastor Joe
