IMPACT FAMILY TIME

This week we continued on into week four of our Truth is Truth series.

Lauren Shepherd spoke this week and brought the truth from Ephesians 4:17-24. We talked through where our identity should come from!
Lauren described sin like wearing a filthy coat. Before Christ we are unable to take this filthy coat off  but then when we give our lives to Christ we have the ability to remove that filthy coat(sin).

Lauren encouraged and challenged the students to remove the coat of sin and to live within the true freedom that Christ offers us.

This week sit down with your student and read Ephesians 4:17-32 together. Be open and vulnerable with one another and discuss what coat(sin) you might still be wearing. Talk with them about the filthy coat of sin and the freedom Christ offers.

COLLIDE FAMILY TIME

This week we heard from Pastor Rick Eimers as he covered 1 Peter 2:1-3. Rick challenged the students to put away sinful habits! He then encouraged the students to pursue Christ and recognize that a relationship with Him is better than ALL sin!

Rick’s main point were that Aliens:
1) Have Tasted God’s Goodness (V.3)
2) Do not at Junk Food (V.1)
3)Crave Pure Food (V.2)

This week read 1 Peter 2:1-3 with your student each night and talk to them about the five “Junk Foods” listed in verse one. Is your student willingly “eating food” that is bad for their spiritual health?
